In on Sunday, oh joy

It Sunday and I'm at work........again...........this really sucks

don't have too much to say really, I miss weekends, mostly cos I no longer get any time with my baby over weekends. We went out to Chadstone yesterday and had a nice day walking round everywhere out there, bought our groceries at BiLo, a common supermarket in Bendigo, but this is the first time I've visited one in the city, seemed very cheap in comparison to COles, but they didn't have as good a range. anyway, better try and get my work done so I can head home.

well haven't made a post for a long time, so thought I may as well get back in the habit, I'm presently at work... on a sunday.... and will be here for a while yet I fear. anyway I had a good single day weekend, went and met up with this couple Judy met on the plane from her trip back from singapore, Priscilla and Ron from Mildura, a country twon about 4 hours further away from melbourne than Bendigo....poor bastard, thats a six hour drive whenever he needs to go home. well anyhow met up with them for a trip to Highpoint shopping center, place was huge, and I get the feeling we'll probably be visiting there again. Anyway, they seemed to be quite nice people, Ron is a very ummm into D & D type stuff, don't know how exactly to lable that, so I promised I'd lend him Diablo 2 for a try, a game that myself and my housemate were absessed with for a considerable amount of time, and which should be right up his alley.

dare say we'll be seeing them again, a trip to chadtone is on the cards. should be good, means i can find out a bit more about Singapore off Ron before my trip there at the end of this year.

They got this cute kid called Felicia who I freaked out completely I think. Judy seemed to think it was because I'm big, guess that must have been it.

was a good night, verrry funny, but not quite as good as I remember them to be.. might have been cos the last time I saw them was in the Prince Patrick Pub, and we had quite a few...hehe ... anyhow, COmedy Festival is nearly over now, might be able to squeeze in one last show Carl Baron, before it ends.

Starting to feel a bit sick, getting that all too familiar sore throat and sinuses are starting to block up....fantastic, that's just what I wanted... hehe uhh I hate being sick

had an interesting drive to work this morning as well, some stupid mother was walking her two kids across the road behind my car (yes folks I was only ten meters from traffic lights) and all of a sudden one of the little ones has taken off... unfortunately there was a car coming in the other direction, the mother started screaming her head off and the driver of the other car somehow managed to avoid hitting the kid who by now was standing in the middle of the road... little guy had a lucky escape but god how could the mother have been so stupid as to try and jay walk with two young children and not even hang onto them tightly on a road as busy as that...

anyway at work now and things are fairly quiet looking foward to going to the GP on thursday just hope I'm well enough to attend now.. uhh I hate being sick

had a fairly ordinary afternoon...you know the type where you've spent the past hour and a half trying to resolve a problem which would only take a second to fix if there was someone around who had worked with this stuff before....well maybe you don't know, but it seems to happen quite often at my work.. there are many occasions where you are breaking new ground and all the help files and internet doco in the world is about as useful as a flyscreen door on a submarine.

anyway I digress, apart from that this morning was fairly good.. am writing this journal at this particular point in time as it sprung into my mind I wouldn't mind putting down the song I'm listening to at the moment as my current music.

Saw an interesting sight on my way to grab some lunch a huge helicopter named "Elvis" which has stared in the recent firefighting efforts in NSW was circling over the area around my work... strange..

Restraunt night went fairly well...we all ate our fill and rolled home again, not certain as yet where we might go next week, but two under current consideration are Crown and The Keg... we'll have to see I guess

of noteworthy mention is an essendon T-Shirt which has been released and I have a hankering to purchase.. on the Front it says "I Barrack for Essendon" and the back says "and anyone else who is playing Carlton" Don't even attempt to understand this statement and how humerous it is unless your australian, and probably have to live in Melbourne as well... anyone a clue to the appeal of this shirt is that my father and cubicle partner at work are both carlton supporters...hence the "Day After" wearing of this shirt after trouncing the navy blue bastards would be SWWEEEETTTT to say the least..


seems every subject line I enter is something negative...I may have to reverse this in the next entry

well pretty buggered right now....has been a long day at work and have spent the last hour in arguments (I mean discussions) with co-workers.....can't wait to get home really, but I have to stay for another hour or so as in my previous journal I got to work late today.....uuuh


anyhow enough bitching... had a nice lunch with my baby except that I threw off her plans cos I didn't wait for her to call me, I just went...my mistake and I'm still sorry sweety...

anyhow going out for tea tonight as well with my baby and our housemate as our first attempt to have a designated "Restaurant Night" we'll probably head off to either an Indian Restaurant or Thai, probably depending on the housemate...as he has even less wild taste in food than I do...hard to believe I know.

geez really am not in practice of typing this much in one go....arm is hurting....this journal is over...will write again when arm recovers.

Well got to work late again this morning, I've been trying fairly hard recently not to do this but I guess a correlation of all the hard work I did last night and the fact that I'm a lazy bastard means I was unable to do so and as a result I strolled into work about 10:30

Last night I had a fair crack at cleaning the apartment, you know... cleaned the kitchen mopped the floors cleaned up the lounge room vacuumed the carpets etc

fair buggered myself and now need to get my hands on some files so as to stow all the shit I found.

Oh of course the really great news from yesterday I got a raise WOO HOO 3000$

so I'm now earning a decent amount a year... not too bad if I do day so meself, now if I could only get my arse out of gear and get myself the full cert I should increase this even further... hmm tummies starting to rumble a bit and looking at the clock its getting on toward 12:30.. might have to bug out and grab some lunch, my girlfriend is amazing I was laying in bed last night at about 1:30 whilst she was tidying up some stuff on her new desk and she actually said "oh shit I haven't made your lunch for tomorrow."

the thing is she was about to get up and go make it, despite the fact of how tired she was, couldn't believe that, anyway managed to persuade her to not worry about it and said I'd just buy something. But still simply highlights the lengths that girl would go to for me and well how lucky I am.

well better go get some lunch, I might even make a habit of writing in this thing after all.

Well have finally been persuaded by my love to get one of these journal thingies and am currently avoiding any pretense of work to add this my very first entry.

Anyhow fairly quiet day today, had a run-in with a dick of a security guard at the supermarket last night... won't bitch too much about it here but suffice it to say they were severely screamed at last night and this morning there have already been many calls to the safeway head office.

LOTR mania has gripped the world it seems and I'm of course not immune. Being the dedicated SciFi/Fantasy freak that I am, and given the many disappointments that have come out of hollywood lately, how refreshing it is to watch a GOOD movie, and I daresay we'll be going again soon.

Had to go meet up with the nazi at lunch to get here to sign the bond retrieval thing... never a pleasant task and I was glad to escape as quickly as I did anyhow...

I guess that will have to do for the first entry, pretty lame I know but I better do some work
